Hi
Not sure which part of the forum
this should go.
Two friends, one using a PC the
other using a Mac are keen to
listen to Amateur/Ham
transmissions.
Is there a computer based
receiving program they can
use/download?
Of course they can't use the likes
of W7DXX.
Thanks es 73

Field Day 2008:
A contributor asks, "Did you participate in Field Day this year? If so, where did you operate and what bands/modes did you use? Were you alone or with a club? How many people turned out? How did it compare with previous events? Please share all of your experiences."

I found most all this stuff on ebay and figured it might make a neat ATV station.
Being a Tech only, I have to stay above 50MHz.
I have a Kenwood 570S so I do listen in the low bands, but my operation is mostly 2m and 70cm. I also do radio astronomy and have a 12ft (3m) TV-RO dish fitted with a 1.4Ghz feed. You can see the dish at: http://www.rayz.com/seti/
